The Baltimore Community ToolBank thrives on volunteerism. As a small staff, we welcome volunteers to join us in serving our partners. In any given year, 1,000 – 1,500 unique volunteers help perform all manner of tasks. From inventory maintenance and organization, warehouse efficiency projects, environmental work in our stormwater factory, rain gardens, and building floating wetlands, we are stronger when others join us!
As a small staff we best accommodate groups projects and interested parties should reach out here: group project volunteer interest.
Community Volunteer Days:
Excitingly, in 2026 we are hosing Community Volunteer Days on a quarterly basis on Saturday mornings. Those individuals interested in investing some sweat-equity into the ToolBank should join us for these! Note- these are family friendly projects, and great ways for small (or tiny) hands to give back to the community! These are advertised on our instagram with the 2026 calendar having May 9th (rescheduled from 5/2), August 8th, and October (tbd).
