During the spring of 2026, $20 off orders for tools used to plant or maintain trees!
A healthy Urban Tree Canopy is essential to the health, temperature, beauty, and justice of our city. To directly support the excellent tree planting (and absolutely critical tree maintenance work) the ToolBank is working hard to ensure Tools for Change empower those planting and maintaining our shared communities' trees. This subsidy will be updated over the next 4 planting seasons (through December 2027), so be sure to check back for updates as we refined this program for summer watering, fall planting, and winter pruning seasons! (We're also working to ensure those tools are of the topmost quality, stay tuned!).
This work is thanks to support from the Chesapeake Bay Trust, whose funding/program partner is the Maryland Department of Natural Resources - Forest Service. The Baltimore Community ToolBank is excited to support Maryland 5 Million Trees initiative!
To get the subsidy for your tool order, just complete the short survey below for our team to review.
Once you submit the survey a staff member will reach out once it is either applied or if there are any follow-up questions. At that time a new payment link will be shared to collect payment with the subsidy applied.
Note, we are able to process this survey in person for those groups wishing to pay at pickup or return, just let a staff member know!
