How can I get in touch?
- Give us a call and leave a message! We will give you a call back! 410-244-5565!
Are schools able to be members?
- Absolutely, and this works similarly to how it works for groups like PTA's, student organizations, or scout troops. As long as the project is for community benefit then membership approval is easy. Submit a member application and then our staff will work with you to get the proper documentation.
My organization doesn't have a 501(c)(3) certification, is that a problem?
Our tools are to empower community projects, and one way to vet this is a 501(c)(3) status. Those groups that do not have this may still be eligible to utilize the ToolBank resource, and should reach out to chat further. Some examples include small community cleanups where the documentation is a social media post, girl scout troops that are nestled under a larger national organization, corporate cleanup projects where the local non-profit partner is the documentation. Reach out and we are happy to chat further.
Can I use ToolBank tools for a wedding?
- No, ToolBank tools are not to be used for private personal events or electioneering campaigns. Our status as a non-profit and our funding is leveraged on the fact that our tools are for public community benefit, so misuse of our inventory jeopardizes the organization. As such we monitor our tool usage and will flag orders and members that abuse our tools. If you are unsure or want to talk through this then give us a call at 410-244-5565.
I'm having trouble logging in.
- The most common issue is that the user name needs a ".tb" suffix. For example, if the user's email is bmore@toolbank.org then the username would be "bmore@toolbank.org.tb". If that isn't the issue then a password reset would be the next step and give us a call 410-244-5565.
